This July The Workshop is proud to present the final production of our 2024/25 season, “The Misanthrope” by Moliere.
The Play takes us into the social games and machinations of the French court of the 1600s – in our production updated somewhat to exist in an anachronistic mid 80s. The themes of the idle deceptions of the rich, the hypocrisy of those that would critique them, and the struggles of love and honesty are ones that are found throughout history, and it’s these ideas that our talented cast will bring to life.
Combining style, substance, humour and gravitas, our production of The Misanthrope is not one you will want to miss.
